Performative spaces: Negotiations in the literature classroom

چکیده
The term performativity is used in and across various research disciplines, such as language philosophy, gender cultural studies, art literature studies. Inspired by former uses of the concept within other this article elaborates on what can offer literary education. Using two theoretical conceptualisations performativity, poststructuralist posthumanist, explores empirical examples from authors’ previous analyses highlight how emphasises and, maybe even more importantly, provides conceptual tools for studying—ongoing processes unfoldings classroom. Negotiation emerges a key concept. Finally, study suggestions education, relates to recent issues education Nordic countries well contemporary understandings Bildung.
